Dates

The season is divided into two parts, with everyone having a well - earned break over the summer school holidays. The season concludes with two weeks of finals in March.

All dates shown are the Monday night of the week commencing.

WHEN:

The summer season is played over 5 nights.

U8/U9s         Friday 6:00pm  |  7:00pm

U11s               Thursday 6:00pm, 7:10pm

U13s/U17s      Tuesday 6:00pm, 7:10pm   |   8.20pm

U15s              Monday 6:30pm, 7:40pm

Opens          Wednesday 6:15pm, 7:15pm, 8:15pm, 9:15pm

 WHERE:  Association Courts - Corner Greenhill Rd and Anzac Hwy in the parklands.

 AGE: 

The age groups for Summer 2024/25 apply based on your year of birth.

·       Players born in 2016 and 2017 are eligible for “8 & Under”

·       Players born in 2015 are eligible for “9 & Under”

·       Players born in 2014 or 2013 are eligible for “11 & Under”

·       Players born in 2012 or 2011 are eligible for “13 & Under”

·       Players born in 2010 or 2009 are eligible for “15 & Under”

·       Players born in 2008 or 2007 are eligible for “17 & Under”

·       Players born in 2006 or earlier are eligible for Open teams

MANAGERS: Each team must have a committed manager who is prepared to be responsible for the team and putting players on court each week. Training is optional and not expected. You can train if you wish but cannot punish a player for not training. SMAA minor and major round court time policies still apply – relatively equal court time over minor rounds and at least two quarters in the major rounds for all teams other than OPENs.  Finals court time for OPEN teams is at the coaches discretion. Only fully financial players who have played 3 or more games for the club are eligible to take the court in finals.

UMPIRES: Each team will have an allocated umpire who will umpire your game each week. The committee will do their best to find umpires but let us know if you know someone who would like to take on this role. It is a paid and weekly commitment for the entire season.
